Inveraray Castle

Inveraray Castle is an iconic country house on the shore of Loch Fyne, Scotland’s longest sea loch. A family home to the Dukes of Argyll and the seat of Clan Campbell since the 18th Century, visitors can walk in the footsteps of many generations of this household and learn about their contribution to the nation’s history. The three floors of this impressive example of Gothic Revival architecture display original Beauvais tapestries, the highest ceiling of any house in Scotland and a unique basement kitchen with seven fireplaces.
