One of the most distinctive features of the viaduct is its 21 arches, which gracefully curve along the landscape. The viaduct is made of concrete and locally sourced materials, and its construction was a remarkable engineering achievement of its time.
Harry Potter Connection: The Glenfinnan Viaduct gained international fame through its appearance in the Harry Potter film series.
